The Rome division includes the following counties: Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Murray, Paulding, Polk, Walker and Whitfield.
When visiting the courthouse, you must bring a government picture identification (ID) and be prepared to show it upon entering. Cellular phones and other electronic devices with cameras will not be allowed beyond the security checkpoints. However, these devices without cameras are allowed.

Parking is provided at the rear of the Courthouse. Use the entrance at the left of the building and proceed through the parking lot gate to the parking area.
Directions to the Rome Courthouse:
From I-75
Take Exit 290 to Georgia Highway 20.
Follow Georgia Highway 20 West where it will join US Highway 411.
Follow US Highway 411/Georgia Highway 20 to Rome.
Exit to US Highway 27 North (Turner McCall Blvd).
Follow US Highway 27 North to East 1st St.
Turn left on E. 1st Street.
After passing 8th Ave., the Courthouse will be on the left.
From Cartersville
Follow U.S. Highway 411 to Rome.
Exit to U.S. Highway 27 North.
Turn left on E. 1st St.
After passing 8th Ave., the Courthouse will be on the left in the middle of the block.
From Cedartown
Follow U.S. Highway 27 North to Rome.
Turn left on E. 1st St.
After passing 8th Ave., the Courthouse will be on the left in the middle of the block.
From Dallas
Follow U.S. Highway 278 to Rockmart.
Turn right on Georgia Highway 101 North.
Follow to Rome.
Turn right on E. 1st St.
After passing 8th Ave., the Courthouse will be on the left in the middle of the block.
From Dalton
Follow I-75 South and exit to Georgia Highway 53.
Follow Georgia Highway 53 South to Rome.
After passing U.S. Highway 27, then Riverside Pkwy on the right, the Courthouse will be on the left in the middle of the block.
From LaFayette
Follow U.S. Highway 27 South to Rome.
Near Rome, U.S. Highway 27 merges with Georgia Highway 20.
Turn right on E. 1st St.
After passing Riverside Pkwy on the right, the Courthouse will be on the left in the middle of the block.
