When visiting the courthouse, you must bring a government picture identification (ID) and be prepared to show it upon entering. We highly suggest that you use the directions below to reach the parking area for the Atlanta division courthouse. GPS and other mapping services are rarely successful at providing correct instructions to reach the parking area as it is below Ted Turner Drive. Due to ongoing construction, Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive is closed between Forsyth Street and Ted Turner Drive near the Atlanta courthouse. Using the directions below is the best way to avoid these closures. However, please allow additional travel time to account for traffic delays. Visitors to the Richard B. Russell Federal Building and United States Courthouse may take MARTA to the Five Points Station or the Georgia World Congress Center Station. Members of the State Bar of Georgia may consider parking in the State Bar parking deck at 104 Marietta St. NW, Atlanta, GA. In addition, daily parking is available in several public lots nearby. The closest public parking is adjacent to the courthouse in Centennial Yards Lot A at the west end of Alabama Street under the Ted Turner Drive viaduct. Payment for parking in Lot A must be made with the parking vendor by scanning the QR code displayed in the parking lot and following the instructions. Account set up with the vendor is not required.
